Over the past few years, an exciting development in competition dancing has been the growth of ProAm and Teacher-Student events. These operate both nationally and internationally and give an opportunity for students to have the true competition experience analogous to the 'open circuit', all whilst in the safe hands of their teacher.

Here at SHDC both Michael and Nika offer ProAm and Teacher-Student training and competitions and have had great success, winning many competitions with students in both Ballroom and Latin American. For a full list of our students' achievements see our dedicated 'Major Achievements' page.
